Most neighborhood complaints typically revolve around noise, unkempt yards, and wandering dogs doing their business where they shouldn’t.
This neighbor is sure to take the cake. Problem is, what he’s doing is not illegal.
Periodically for the last decade, this man has stood in the doorway to his home – totally in the nude:

Finally, WBTV reports that his neighbors in Charlotte, North Carolina, have had enough and plan to do something about it. According to one resident:
“It’s not good to have people walking around here naked like that a grown man like that with all these kids out here you know.”
Another neighbor, Adrienna Harris, had similar reasons for wanting the man to put on some clothes:
“’Because my daughter grew up in this neighborhood. Even this week, when she was home from spring break, she would call me at work and say ‘Mom, I’m getting ready to go outside, but let me check if he’s out there first’. That’s how bad it is in the neighborhood.’
Harris says she’s called police numerous times over the last ten years to complain, but nothing has been done.”
Under current North Carolina law, indecent exposure charges can only be levied if a person “willfully expose[s] the private parts of his or her person in any public place and in the presence of any other person or persons.”
The Charlotte Police confirmed that, although officers have been called to the scene, there isn’t much they can do:
“‘Since it is not a criminal incident, it was documented in the ‘call for service’ but there is no report,’ the spokeswoman told WBTV.
She added that officers confirmed with the magistrate that the incident did not rise to a level of a charge, since the man was on his own property.”
Upset residents are now hoping that they are able to file a complaint with the Homeowners’ Association. However, Twitter users offered other suggestions:
